[March 9, 2010]  Congrats to the 7th Grade Volleyball team for defeating Fieldcrest last night, earning the Sectional Champion title!  The team will now play Saturday, March 13, for state.  Saturday's game will be in Assumption, at 10:00 a.m.  If they win the 10:00 match, they will play again at 1:00.  There will be a student fan bus.

30 High School Music students traveled to Peoria this weekend for IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest. While not a competition against other students, this event gives musicians a chance to perform alone or in small groups and receive expert feedback. Students then receive a divisional rating based on their scores in several categories of musicianship.

All of the students did a tremendous job preparing and performing, and many of them will have the chance to perform their solos again for an audience. A few of these students and others will be showcasing their talents tonight (Tuesday, March 9) at 7:00pm in the Gridley Library. Come see how hard our students have been working!
